This 16 page booklet is a collection booklet which records payments for health and accident insurance for Hildegard Diel. She was born on 7 May 1903 in Karlsbad, Sudetenland.
She apparently made several payments whichb are recorded on the two pages shown in the photographs. The dates extend from 31 July 1939 to 15 January 1942.
Note that the payments are stamped RVO. This is tthe German Reich insurance code for Reichsversicherungsordnung. It is a systgem whereby health, pension and accident insurance are integrated under one set of laws. The RVO was the decisive legal basis for German health insurance law. Compulsory insurance was mandatory for, among others, messengers, migrant workers, and those working in farming and forestry.
The booklet is in very good condition. And it is a unique historical artifact of German history.
