This Sunbrust effect is created by cutting into the oak log sideways giving the wood a tiger strip grain pattern .the next step is to slice the wood into thin strips and lay out the matching pieces across the table top and glue. To protect the natural materials used on the table top please use pads or place mats Please notice the nice detailing on the steam bent apron.A solid hard wood base keeps the table very stable which is especially important when the leaf is in use.With the extension leaf is used the table can fit up to 6 adults.
