This is a very colorful 1960’s German educational pull-down poster. It depicts details about prehistoric humans--presumably, of course, in the area of present day Germany.
The title on the poster reads: Siedlungsstatte der Jager und Sammler, meaning the Settlement of Hunters and Gatherers.
It had first been used around 1961 in a German school in Ladenburg, near Heidelberg. It’s had been frequently but carefully handled, and shows a bit of ware (but not much) which is natural for its age and instructional service.
The photos amply characterize the poster’s description and very good condition.
It is 50 inches wide X 32 inches high.
This poster is a great souvenir of Germany; one which is truly authentic and which had a real function in the nation’s education system.
